Energy Management

Ben Price Men’s Initiation Facilitator. Most men don’t burn out because they lack discipline. They burn out because they live in constant doing mode, disconnected from their internal state, their body, and their energy. Ben Price works at that deeper level.

Ben served in the British Army Intelligence Corps, deploying multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan alongside special forces. Operating in high-pressure environments shaped his understanding of how men function under stress, how identity fractures under load, and how poor decisions emerge when overwhelmed rather than grounded.

He is the author of Conversations with a Suicide Bomber, an exploration of the inner war of the mind and the peace most men avoid pursuing. Before coaching full-time, Ben ran a successful gym business, transforming the bodies and lives of over 300 people through discipline, standards, and personal responsibility.

At PATH, Ben leads the Energy Management module, helping men move from constant doing to grounded being.

His work reframes wellbeing away from vague self-care and into something practical and measurable: the capacity to meet life’s demands head-on.

He teaches men how to build daily rhythms that reduce decision fatigue, restore clarity, and sustain high performance.

Ben works with men who are ready to stop running on adrenaline and start living from a sense of presence, stability, and self-command.

Energy management for men stuck in constant doing

Most men don’t burn out because they lack discipline. They burn out because they live in constant doing mode — disconnected from their internal state, their body, and their energy. Ben Price’s role at Path Community is Energy Management: leading the Energy Management module and helping men move from relentless output toward more grounded being, presence, and stability.

Practical, direct, UK men’s development. No hype, and no invented credentials.

What energy management means here

Energy management at Path is not a productivity hack list. It is attention to the deeper level the coaches page already names: internal state, body, and energy — so decisions, presence, and follow-through stop being powered only by willpower.

Ben’s public framing points to everyday realities driven men know well:

  • Decision fatigue after days of constant choosing and responding
  • Daily rhythms that never quite recover before the next push
  • A life of doing that crowds out grounded being
  • Wanting presence and stability without abandoning ambition

The work is practical: notice what drains you, rebuild rhythms that restore capacity, and practise presence as a skill — not as a weekend luxury.

Who this lane tends to suit

Men who benefit from energy management often recognise themselves here:

  • High output with a thinning sense of internal fuel
  • Irritable, flat, or wired-tired despite “pushing through”
  • Calendars that leave no room to check in with body or state
  • Knowing rest matters but treating it as optional until crash
  • Wanting steadier presence at home and at work, not only better time-blocking

Path coaching is personal development inside a men’s community — not medical treatment for burnout or illness. If you need clinical support, work with a qualified professional.

How the work tends to unfold

From doing mode to noticing state

You cannot manage what you never check. The first move is simple awareness: what does your body signal before you override it, and what stories make override feel necessary?

Daily rhythms that actually restore

Rhythms beat one-off resets. Sleep, movement, stillness, and how you start and end the day become levers for capacity. Ben’s module framing treats those as trainable, not as personality traits you either have or don’t.

Presence and stability under real load

Grounded being is not the opposite of ambition. It is the base that lets ambition continue without costing every relationship and every Sunday. Stability shows up as clearer decisions, less reactive snap, and more available attention for what matters.

How Ben fits inside Path Community

Ben leads the Energy Management module within Path’s coaching programme. Specialist coaches also appear in live workshops and the community portal. Energy work sits naturally beside movement, breath, mindset, and men’s circle accountability — because depleted men struggle to practise any of those well.

If you want the programme overview, start with pathways. For peer honesty while you rebuild rhythms, see the men’s circle. For membership structure, see pricing.

Common questions

Is energy management just better time management?

No. Time management organises the calendar. Energy management asks what state you bring to the calendar — and how disconnection from body and internal cues quietly drains you even when the plan looks efficient.

Do I need to quit my ambitious life for this to work?

No. The live framing is about moving from constant doing to more grounded being while still living a full life. The aim is sustainable presence and capacity, not dropping your standards.

Next step

If Ben’s energy management lane resonates:

Less constant doing. More grounded being. Presence and stability you can feel in ordinary weeks.
