Join us as we trek from Lewes to Brighton on Sat 7th February 2025. We’ll have a hearty lunch social on the coast in Brighton to reward our efforts.
This is a trek with a destination. We begin in the historic town of Lewes, climbing swiftly onto the airy, chalky trails of the South Downs Way. The route is a rollercoaster of climbs and descents that will test your stamina, offering endless, big-sky views of the rolling hills. The ultimate payoff? Cresting that final hill to see the sparkling English Channel laid out before you, with the vibrant city of Brighton calling you home.
The final descent is pure magic, leading you directly from the tranquil downs into the heart of Brighton’s iconic seafront energy.
Your Coastal Mission, Sorted:
We meet at Lewes station, a direct 60-minute train from London Victoria. The trek is a one-way journey, finishing on Brighton’s seafront. From there, you’re moments from the station, with direct trains back to London (under an hour) or a perfect excuse to celebrate with a well-earned pint in the lanes.
This is the ultimate blend of challenging wilderness and vibrant urban reward. Walk the hills, then own the town.
