Stop Living on Autopilot — About Path Community

At Path Community, we start with a simple, often overlooked truth: sustainable growth begins with a single step, not a giant leap. Most men aren’t avoiding growth; in our opinion, they’re put off by the industry that has sprung up around it.

We’re told we need years of psychoanalysis, esoteric spiritual practices, or to immediately confront our deepest shadows. For the man just starting out, this isn’t a path – it’s a wall.

From Alienation to Integration

We believe the language of growth should be accessible, not alienating. Concepts like mindfulness become “mental focus.” Shadow work is reframed as “understanding your triggers.” Spirituality is explored through practical purpose. We soften the edges without diluting the depth, creating an on-ramp for the growth explorer. Our content and guidance are designed to meet men where they are, using the language of action and results they already understand.

The Engine of Growth: OUR MENS CIRCLES

Knowledge is powerless without application, and application is fragile without accountability. This is the core of our Mens circles system. We move beyond passive learning – the podcast in the car, the book on the nightstand – and into active doing.

Men’s circles are small, consistent groups of men on similar journeys. This is where theory meets practice. It’s where you state a goal on Monday and know your circle will ask about it on Friday. This group accountability is transformative because it replaces the internal critic with an external, supportive team. It’s one thing to let yourself down; it’s another to tell your peers you didn’t try. In the circle, progress is celebrated collectively, and setbacks are navigated with shared insight.

This combination – accessible entry points and the unwavering support of a small community – is what makes Path different. We provide the map and the travelling party, making the journey of growth not just possible, but practical and profoundly rewarding.

Mike and Casper, Path Community founders

Caspar

Hi, I’m Caspar. I’ve spent the last 14 years working as a coach in the world of health, fitness, and wellbeing. From running my own gym business to guiding CEOs and founders through life’s challenges and transitions. I’ve seen firsthand how much men can grow when they’re given the right tools, structure, and support.

Like many men, I pushed myself hard in pursuit of success. But behind the milestones, I often felt an emptiness that no achievement could quite fill. It wasn’t until I began doing the inner work by facing my own fears, patterns, and blind spots, that I realised growth has to start from the inside out.

My own journey taught me that success without alignment can leave you feeling empty, and that no one thrives in isolation. That’s why I believe so strongly in the power of community, accountability, and expert guidance to create real, lasting change.

PATH brings those lessons to a wider audience. We’ve built a collective of experts across movement, mindset, relationships, and more, each contributing practical wisdom that men can learn and apply to their lives.

My role is to help shape that framework, contribute my experience, and support men on the path to optimal wellbeing.

PATH is the community I wish I had when I was searching for more, and I’m proud to be building it along side every man who joins us.

MIKE

Hi, I’m Mike – I grew up on the streets of Brighton causing mischief and generally being a nuisance. My parents sent me to a decent school and I learnt a lot about working hard, mostly by realising what happens when you dont. It was part of growing up I guess, even if it was the harder way to discover a little respect and momentum.

Despite my passion for the arts, I followed my father’s footsteps towards the corporate world and spent the first half of my career as a growth consultant in the tech industry helping tech start-ups build early momentum. I wonder what will become of the second half…

I’ve travelled the world from Uganda to Colombia, Morocco to Montenegro, Glastonbury to Burningman – enjoying the frivolities of life. I have two beautiful daughters and a little boy – something which has presented new challenges beyond my wildest dreams. Challenges which I cherish and that continue to help me grow.

Now I find myself at those damn typical mid-life cross roads folks warned me about. Contemplating life in new ways. Asking questions and seeking new types of fulfilment.

Despite starting the Path Community, the world of mens work, as they call it, is all still pretty new to me. I’m like most of the other semi-curious, semi aware dudes out there. I wouldn’t call myself spiritual, I’m an ordinary guy with newly discovered aspirations for growth and wellbeing.

My aim is to use this layman perspective to help guide the Path Community to remain simple, grounded and welcoming to wider everyday men starting out on their journey of growth. Scaling Path to impact as many men as possible is my goal. Accessibility is important to me so those less fortunate can be supported in their journey too.

I know being well is important and I know for a fact that being well is a radical endeavour. It isn’t easy in other words so I hope our new community can help provide the support you need to really flourish.

Frequently asked questions

What does “stop living on autopilot” mean?

“Stop living on autopilot” is Path Community's call to wake up from the default loop of work, numbness, and reactive relationships. It means choosing conscious leadership at home and work — noticing overwhelm early, naming what matters, and taking ownership of your next step.

What is Path Community?

Path Community is a UK men's personal development community offering pathways, men's circles, and coaching. We help men move from overwhelm and autopilot into clearer presence as partners, fathers, and leaders.

Who is Path Community for?

Men who feel the mental load of work and family, who worry they're failing as husbands or fathers, or who want better relationships without losing themselves. If you're ready for accountability — not hype — you're in the right place.

How is Path Community different from generic self-help?

We focus on UK men in the thick of real life — marriage, fatherhood, and overwhelm — with named pathways, lived coach experience, and community accountability. Content and programmes are built to be cited, practised, and shared, not scrolled past.

Where should I start if life feels like too much?

Start with the “Where Are You Really?” / overwhelm pathway content, then join a men's circle or book a coaching conversation. You don't need a perfect plan — you need a first honest step and a community that won't let you disappear back into autopilot.
